Ok, for programs you'll need applications that cover
AT LEAST visuals and audio.
So for software, I use only three programs.

And you may ask: What do they do? Are they beginner friendly?
Why the fuck are you still using Comic Sans?
So first of all, I recommend for now trying to use only Vegas Pro 14.
As it can do visuals and audio.
Unfortunately it's the only paid one (Despite everyone cracking it).
Reaper and VocalShifter can be used free.
So for your first YTPMV, you'll need some things:
So the first thing, is a source.
What is a source? It's the video you're going to use
on your video.
For your first source, I strongly recommend using
a source with a long monotone scream or something like
that.
So, you need to know some basic things about
musical theory when trying to make your
first YTPMV.
So to start, you need to know the basic 7 musical notes:
C D E F G A B
Those are the basic notes that almost everyone
know (Nursery Rhymes and others).
BUT when making YTPMV, you'll use pitches.
These pitches normally go from 0 to 12.
And whats the correlation?
Well, the pitch uses semitones, and each semitone represents a
a note above the original one.
So, if I add 1 semitone to a C note? I get?
Exactly! C#.
So to make some things clear: there are 7 musical notes.
However, there are the sharp notes
On a piano you see, we have 12 keys per octave
(Octave is when it's raised by 12 semitones, and it
restarts the keys)
We have, 7 white keys (Natural Ones), and 5 black keys (Sharp).
So we get a sharp note by elevating by one semitone, and
not a full tone. This may look confusing, but with
the sharp ones, we get this order:
C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# B
Keep in mind that E# and B# don't exist in the same way the others
exist. As the # means that it's elevated by one semitone, that meaning
you go to the next note. And as E and B doesn't have black keys, they'll go
to the next key, so E# is F and B# is C from the next octave.
And yeah, that's pretty important if you're going to do YTPMV
Using MIDI STEMS as a BASE!!
(Please don't do replaces that really sucks)
To make your life a little bit easier, i'll put a list of the
pitches you'll need to get to a certain note (IF THE SOURCE IS PITCHED ON C)
